Kindness Advent

One of the traditions I had growing up was an advent calendar, and I passed that on to my own family. We have had this cloth Christmas tree for over 25 years, something I bought before I even had children. Once we had our daughters, I would write activities and acts of kindness on slips of paper, place them in the pockets, and add a little candy or chocolate, or a coin. The girls loved to see what activity we would have to do that day.

I have created two Kindness Advent Calendars for you to enjoy. One is a school edition, and the other is a home edition. If you have a cloth advent calendar of your own, you can cut out the dates and place them in your calendar.

These advent calendars are on my website at www.kindnessandstories.com in the free worksheets section.

May you grow closer as a family or a class as you complete these activities, and if you can't do an activity, that is okay! Do what you can. Every act will make a difference.

If you have the chance, I would love to see photos or just an email of how you are using the advent calendar at home or at school.

Let Kindness Shine this holiday season. 🎄
